c4rl is a German artist and producer who bridges the worlds of rap and electronic music. His self-produced tracks exist at the intersection of underground trap, European electronic music, and DIY sound. Inspired by the vibrant underground scene of his hometown, Hamburg, he combines EDM-inspired synth leads with rhythmic elements from underground trap.

c4rl first gained attention with his debut single “Boom!,” created in collaboration with fellow Hamburg native Yung Palo. This was quickly followed by other songs such as “Zu Laut” (over 4 million streams) and “Ballin” featuring London rapper YT and Yung Palo.

His debut album “okay” was released in late April 2026, marking the next step in his artistic development. To celebrate the album’s release, c4rl hosted a release party in Berlin that drew more than 500 fans to the city.

c4rl has already performed live as a support act for Yung Palo and Joje, further expanding his audience. He also played internationally in Taipei at an event hosted by the cultural magazine Sabukaru. In 2026, c4rl will embark on his first headlining tour in support of his album “okay,” visiting cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, and Frankfurt.

This coming summer will also mark his first active festival season, with appearances at festivals such as c/o pop, Oben Ohne, Trägertal Festival, and Kiezkultur.

In addition to his music, c4rl is also known for the visuals he creates himself to accompany his releases. These blend the nostalgic visual aesthetics of the 2010s with a DIY approach and are an integral part of his artistic identity.
